 Mevlana Alchemist Symphonic Poem

Because 2007 was declared the year of Mevlana Rumi, on 24 December 2007 in the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Center, during the performance of “Mevlana Alchemist Symphonic Poem” concert, the Universal Lovers of Mevlana Association offered a presentation of the Sema/Whirling in Worship.

Our group was invited by Hitit Production to offer the Sema Ceremony to a select French audience in Paris, the capital of France. Hasan Dede also gave a conference on the philosophy of the Exalted Mevlana.

For the second year The Contemporary Lovers of Mevlana Association was invited by Marti Group and Lila Music to take part in the annual Phaselis Festival. The audience was very impressed by the Sufi/Mystic Music Concert and Sema Ceremony that we presented in the historic Phaselis Antique Theater.
